Christmas Season

It is once again the Christmas season, the happiest time of the year! And again, I'm starting back up on my hot-button issue: the war against Christmas. You know how it is, you can't wish anyone Merry Christmas, you can't put up Christmas trees in public, etc. But I will spare you all the annual lecture because I would like to extend this message to you:

Now that the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is lit, I would like to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas season. Despite finals, may Christmas morning find you both happy and broke.

“In the old days, it was not called the Holiday Season; the Christians called it 'Christmas' and went to church; the Jews called it 'Hanukkah' and went to synagogue; the atheists went to parties and drank. People passing each other on the street would say 'Merry Christmas!' or 'Happy Hanukkah!' or (to the atheists) 'Look out for the wall!'” Dave Barry
